Books!
So how many of you went to get a Harry Potter book (or getting one soon)? I think I saw an amazing amount of my friends went to get books--- very cool!
I, myself, went to the evil Wal-Mart because it had the lowest price. I am on a very limited budget right now, and didn't want to wait until 10 AM in the morning for Sam's Club, so I went to the Evil Store. I am not proud of it, but I am poor. And it was the only place in town that didn't have a party. Joey had to work so we didn't get there until like a half hour before they put out the books. I wanted to guarantee a copy. And they had at least fifty left when I left. Still guilt, guilt!
I must say, J.K. Rowling really brought out a lot of new readers and keeping the constant readers happy--- and I think that's amazing! I hope someday I can generate half as much as she has done in her career! It isn't about money or anything, but just the love of reading. Amazing! What's funny about Harry Potter is I didn't start reading it until my sophomore year in college---- when the first four were already out! Crazy!
Okay, enough about "the book". It's my niece's 2nd birthday today so I want to focus on that rather than a book. And Joey's going to be 21 in two days.... getting old!
